‘Trust’ at Drum Castle In conjunction with the National Trust for Scotland and North East Open Studios‚ Limousine Bull Artists’ Collective will present a range of site-specific visual artworks within historic Drum Castle, and throughout the grounds of Drum Estate, including the Old Forest and gardens. The work will represent responses to the theme of ‘Trust’. The artists’ interpretations of this brief have been diverse: ranging from the trust we place in our loved-ones, to an examination of covert surveillance and society’s lack of trust in its citizens. Those selected for the exhibition include prominent local, national and international artists, many of whom are post-graduates of Aberdeen’s Gray’s School of Art. Launch party at 1300 on Saturday 12th September‚ beginning with a live performance of ‘Patriot Station’ by Peter McRae. Refreshments will be provided. Exhibiting Artists Will Include: Mark Bremner, Lois Carson, Rowena Comrie, Ann Craig, Nicol Dourala, Donna Ferenth, Anna Geerdes, Alexander Gordon, Emma Grant, Iain Irving, Fiona Jack, Peter McRae, Alan Paterson, Fraser Reid, Roderick Scott, Fiona Swapp, Moira Third, Deborah Wickham, Matthew Wickham & Steve Wilkes. ‘Trust’ will be open from 12th September to 21st September, 11.30 to 1700, closed Tuesday and Friday.
