This is a FREE workshop brought to you by Tempting Failure.
The workshop is for those aged 11 – 16.
Ever wondered how to capture a narrative,turn it into a drawing and then breath life into that drawing through action?
Then this is the workshop for you. Offering a light hearted day that introduces you to the world of live art, without you needing any experience!
The workshop will encourage you to develop your own sensitivities to the urban environment, creating stories through walking,drawing and performance making.
You will be immersed in a travelling narrative around the locality probing for materials, souvenirs and treasures to use in a Performance Making afternoon at Hackney Showroom. Create images, textures and artworks to be captured and archived as an individual or in groups learning new skills and approaches. The experience and the work will be yours to take away with you.
