Untitled

Odette England, 'Untitled', C-Print on Plexiglass, 90.3cm x 121.9cm, 2007. From the series 'Rush for Heaven': The traditional mode of temporality is a linear procession of past, present, future. Similarly, photography itself is a marking technology. Photographs are traces of an original event. Fixing them as still images, as symbols of life, is what the photographer does. 'Rush for Heaven' personalises the sequential elements of existence linked by location and artist, presenting the nature of energy and matter in its relation with space-time.
