Following on from exhibitions in Senegal’s National Gallery of the Arts in Dakar and the Yaounde RAVY Biennale in Cameroon, this is Siregar’s first exhibition in Scotland, where she is now resident: a ‘new Scot’.
Siregar is bringing her unique practice to the recently launched multi-use space, the Bank of Ideas, in Rothesay. Siregar’s work incudes a combination of found objects, video pieces, installation work, photography and performance art based on ancient ritual from her birthplace in North Sumatra, Indonesia.
