Following the latest spending review in June, which saw a further five per cent cut to ACE’s budget, and last week’s announcement of a new application process for organisations wishing to apply for Arts Council national portfolio and major partner museum funding from 2015, ACE Chief Executive Alan Davey will today take part in a live chat hosted by Guardian Culture Profesionals. He’ll be answering questions about arts policy, finance and what the future holds for the sector.

In an article published by the Guardian last week, Davey discussed the new application process for organisations, saying:

“We believe that a three-year approach is essential to enable organisations plan for the long term… the application process will result in some organisations not receiving funding, while others may see their funding go up or down. We’ll also be welcoming applications from new organisations.”

Davey will be will be online between 2-3pm BST today, Wednesday 31 July. Post your questions in advance via the Guardian Culture Professionals site.
