Pavilion Open Exhibition 2015
Penarth’s fully restored Art Deco Pier Pavilion is an intriguing coastal location for an open submission exhibition. The gallery stages approximately 20 shows a year and the inaugural Open Exhibition, showcases works by 29 artists including Lucia Jones, Robert Moon and Carmen Stahl.

A Fold in the River
Artist Valerie Coffin Price has collaborated with award-winning poet Philip Gross on a book and exhibition based around Gross’ writings inspired by the environ of the River Taff. Revisiting this site, Price has mapped and drawn her own resulting response to the words and the place.

Open Reading
Richard Taylor will be presenting his new performance ‘blue farm, roundhouse, hlâw’ during an event introduced by Maria Fusco, that culminates his ECA/ESW Research Residency in Art Writing. Several bookable slots are available for art writers who wish to use this space as a chance to test-read their work before a live audience.

Linear Mapping
Hannah Lamb, Carolyn Mendelsohn, Ann Davies and Kate Rawnsley are amongst over 100 artists and makers to take part in Saltaire Arts Trail. The four artists will be opening their studios at The Butterfly Rooms, presenting photography, lino cuts, paintings and an installation of threads forming a linear map and record of a walk.
