Artists’ Book Market BALTIC
A programme of talks, performances and workshops runs alongside BALTIC’s marketplace of stalls from artists, bookmakers and small press publishers. Performances and video screenings from Sylvia Causer and Andrea Freeman, Pete Kennedy, Amelia Crouch and Emma Bolland explore language and destabilised meanings of the spoken word.

Ten rooms with a view
A Parade for Peckham is a research project by Adam James in association with MOCA London that will take place over the course of the summer. It launches this weekend with performances and workshops by Mark Wayman and James that explore landscape, movement and shared narratives.

AAS – Young Castle of the Elder Sun screening
Young Castle of the Elder Sun is a performance by the band and collective AAS that was originally commissioned by Flux Factory, New York and presented as a live stream. This William Burroughs inspired piece that borrows from television show formats and occult technologies will be screened in its full unedited original broadcast format.

Drink & Draw
Drawing as a social event. Participants of all levels are invited to bring their pens and paper and spend an evening experimenting. Entry fee includes a hot drink and there’s the option to bring your own bottle.

Sonic Coast :: Sound Week
Starting off on World Listening Day, DIVAcontemporary lead a week of walks and events that explore the art of listening through new writing, soundscapes, talks and workshops that consider the distinctions between sound/music/noise and introduce the techniques of recording and editing. There’s even a Sunrise Sound Walk at the Kingston Russell Stone Circle.
