Selfscapes
Works by 25 artists, including Clare Smith (work pictured above), occupy a series of workshops located opposite Dalby Forest‘s visitor centre, as well as being sited at specific loactions within the forest. The works respond to both the forest location and the theme of ‘selfscapes’ – research into the relationship between the self and its environment. The exhibition is accompanied by a discussion led by Professor Mike Collier (University of Sunderland) and chaired by Louise Hutchinson (assistant curator at Yorkshire Sculpture Park) on Friday 22 June.
22 June – 15 July 2018, Dalby Forest, Courtyard, Low Dalby, Pickering YO18 7LT.
