Malcolm Morley, Ashmolean, Oxford
The first-ever winner of the Turner Prize presents approximately 30 paintings and drawings spanning his career from 1964 to present. In that time the artist has developed a highly colourful, individual and expressive style of painting, often depicting man-made disasters such as car and motorbike crashes.
