I primarily work with performance-installation and video, often making work as a reaction to situations that I find frustrating. This frequently means working with recurring issues such as discrimination and governmental failings across multiple works. My process for developing projects is based on a mode of gathering information particularly through interviews with people I am working with and locally sourced archival material. This accumulation of material sometimes results in supporting essays and publications that act as contextual documents. Alongside my artistic practice I work for both artistic and political organisations. In 2015 I founded Kunst Vardo a nomadic art platform largely working between Norway and UK. Between 2009-2013 I ran the live art commissioning body Lincoln Art Programme, Birmingham
