Flora is a London based artist who is currently completing an MFA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art. The desire to playfully rub the fantastical up against the everyday drives Flora Bradwell’s carnivalesque and vibrantly trashy practice. Together with her alter-ego Bella Lordwarf Flora creates paintings as artefacts, videos as propaganda and performances as happenings. Flora's work has been exhibited and screened across the UK and internationally. Flora has also collaborated in curating a number of site responsive projects, installations and exhibitions across London. In 2011 Flora co- founded Greenhorn Short Film Festival, an annual festival celebrating short film making talent. As co-director Flora produced five editions of the festival, programming screenings, cross arts events and education opportunities for emerging filmmakers. In 2016 Flora co-founded Inland Project a portable exhibition in zine format in response to the uncertainty surrounding affordable space in London. Inland has had three issues to date and has hosted events and delivered workshops across the UK. In 2017 Flora joined the icing room collective in Walthamstow curating exhibitions, interruptions of the everyday and publications with them. London
