I loved drawing, painting, playing instruments, writing and acting as a child. I still draw and paint and it is a joy that other people seem to love what I draw and paint. I sell my work at markets. I have done several Salisbury Artisan Markets, Sherborne Markets, local Christmas Fairs and currently have my work at Kit and Kaboodle, 45 High Street, Shaftesbury, SP7 8JE. I have taken part in Open For Art 2019 and took part in Dorset Art Weeks 2021, in person, despite the worst that Covid could throw at us! I have now, also, taken part in Dorset Art Weeks 2022 . I have a few online videos of my creative practice on You Tube. Here is a link to My You Tube channel, set up originally for Dorset Art Weeks 2021 but will remain available until further notice. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBMFGIZHmTeRc8iVn8JfGIw I hope to continue to add more videos to the channel in the future. Here is a link to the Dorset Art Weeks 2022 website, which has a directory of venues, an online copy of the Magazine and a link to the Free App. All give details of the venues that took part and contact details for them. https://www.dorsetartweeks.co.uk/ I am now on a new creative path, writing and drawing/painting illustrations and picture books for children, hoping to find representation. I have updated my website to show only my illustration work, for the books I am writing and for prospective clients (gallery only) You can find this at https://daisysmiff22.wixsite.com/jeanettesmith I have joined the Association of Illustrators (AOI) and also have a portfolio of illustration work on their website under Jeanette Smith. Some of my older 'fine art' is on my printed cards and these are available at my shop (cards only) at https://jeanette-smith.sumup.link/products and at https://www.facebook.com/artbynet or https://Instagram.com/artbynet or on the Dorset Visual Arts website here: https://dorsetvisualarts.org/artist-details/jeanette-smith North Dorset
