Joanne Farley-Webb (b.1973) studied painting at The Royal Academy Schools, London. Her otherworldly paintings form part of an ongoing intuitive inquiry into well-being and self-transformation, combining wisdom practices, such as meditation and devotional teachings. Her practice is deeply-rooted in a spiritual and soul-led approach to creativity which recognizes creativity as ‘medicine’. A series of recent works were completed during the COVID pandemic as part of an Arts-On-Prescription project, an initiative funded by Arts Council England exploring art as medicine for transformation and well-being.
