Chill - Art - Zone - Setter A brief minimally worded introduction in an attempt to translate my existence into definition. My name is Josie and I am happy to be able to say I have spent the majority of my life correlating my daily experiences with my optimum ideals. I grew up in Cornwall, flourishing foliage environments, open door policies, wide open space and a slower pace of life set me up well to have a thriving passion for nature and art. My open mind and wide territorial range have landed myself in various environments partaking in a number of diverse activities across several continents throughout the previous few years. More in depth details can be found throughout my blogs and posts linked to the Artist Network Community. For the purpose of this post I am here to promote the core consistent passions within my life which I have aimed to balance within my leisure, voluntary and occupational time. These passions involve small scale, intimate encounters which have a positive influence on life. I have been attaining this equilibrium most prominently within the summer months. My practice, a combination of watercolour and henna artist, gardener, and herbal tea devotee combine in a manner of ways into a variety of portable structures to emit and hold safe spaces. I open comfortable spaces for people to relax, share, and creatively express with limitless possibilities. I have held such spaces solo and in collaboration with other artists and practitioners, within stationary venues, travelling events, fee'd festivals, free fairs and open public spaces. I personally feel most in harmony when I am travelling at a steady pace on tour with a community which is freely open to the public with a variety of goods and services on show. The wider the variety, the wider the exposure and influences I am both giving and receiving. This variety I believe is key to keep on flourishing positively. My intentions involving this membership are to expand my creative horizons likewise to help in any way expand opportunities for other people considering artistry as a way of life. Please feel no hesitation for instigation of communications! 'To create a life as a piece of art, not a hobby, not a job, not something you like to do, but something you are, the entirety of your existence, your everyday encounters consistently experienced as through a living, breathing masterpiece.' Greetings and gratitude! Josie, Flojanglz Wandaring Artz. South West UK
