I am an interdisciplinary artist and research student currently at Central Saint Martins. I trained in Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art / The University of Edinburgh. My research, both artistic and academic includes: attention and distraction; gestures of discourse and the performance of thought; “playing dumb”, idiocy and the figure of the clown or fool; and fidgeting, restless, distant bodies as opposed to concepts of the “neutral” or task-like body in performance. My collaborative artistic practise with Paul Hughes (currently working under the name Tate n Lyle) takes place across choreographic, performance and visual arts contexts.
