Sarah Cook is an artist living in the Peak District and currently studying a Masters in Fine Art (MFA) course at Sheffield Hallam University. Her work mainly involves casting in bronze, aluminium and plaster, as well as working in ceramics. She is particularly interested in the portrayal of women in both urban and rural settings, local history and mythology, and art as activism. She is inspired by natural forms, especially trees and landscapes. As well as private commissions she enjoys engaging the public through siting her work in everyday environments. She is keen to record people's responses to her art work and develop conversations about challenging issues. Sarah welcomes enquiries about commissions, residencies and collaborations. Peak District
