I will spend October 2019 – January 2020 travelling around Europe meeting with and interviewing other artists who explore monetary phenomena through their work. The aim being to: get a better sense of what’s out there in terms of art […]
Europe... - a-n The Artists Information Company
A record of being part in the 29th Process-Space Art Festival in Plovdiv, European Capital of Culture 2019. How fourteen artists from seven countries, lived and worked together, discovered the ancient city and local arts scene and how they made work for the festival.
The three-hour debate in the House of Lords, convened by Labour Peer Melvyn Bragg, explored the impact on the arts of the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union.
With ongoing demands for greater equality in the arts, the need to reimagine a more inclusive visual arts sector is increasingly urgent. On the eve of the European Outsider Art Association Conference at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, Lydia Ashman makes the case for a new approach to ‘outsider’ artists and their art.

6 Venus Leipzig via Werdau; a route recommended by the DB representative in their Plauen ticket office. Food first. We’re heading to Maza Pita which is the other side of the park. We follow green and blue on the map. […]
7 Moon day CC’s arranged a meeting at the building of the Plauen Art Kollective (He’s shown me how to get there, it’s near the Sternquell brewery). Big doors, wide stairs and high ceilings. It reminds me of, it’s a […]
8 Mercury Meeting Paul Elsner at GEH8 (Gehstraber). I know where to go because Daniel gave me directions from the S train stop. Local knowledge. I go to STORE on Pulsnitzer but unfortunately it’s closed. CC would’ve rung ahead but […]
