powerful and engaging. revealing inhibitions in groups and across generations.
I used the exhibition to open students minds to creative interpretiation, emotive content and the use of symbolism in imagery.
In particular Emily Bailey's "Re::play", Helen Edling's "1x Grey", Elizabeth Merton's "Can" and Imogen Welch's profound and disturbing "Muffled Bedroom"
mixed responses generated some healthy debate and hopefully ignited some creative sparks ready to be fanned by thoughtful reflection.
Particularly useful for my wider aim was Paul Greco's "Switch" an interactive visual game seemingly based on symbolism, association and scaffolding of learned values.
