As part of the Contemporary Visual Arts Programme Kirsty E Smith has been commissioned to make large scale works which will be exhibited within the ancient building of St Mary’s Church. For this year’s commissioned programme a theme has emerged of work which emphasises the interactive nature of art, imagination and the importance of play. Kirsty E Smith’s Frillip Moolog ‘beings’ fit perfectly into this theme. www.frillipmoolog.co.ukWirksworth Festival offers a relaxed, accessible way to enjoy the best new work from regional and national artists in a relaxed and beautiful setting.
