Note: From 1 April 2023, Artists and Arts Organisers are covered by an improved insurance policy as part of their membership with a-n. Details about the changes can be found at a-n.co.uk/about/insurance-changes-april-2023/ along with a list of FAQs. The new policy documents are below.
For Artist members and Arts Organiser members
Public & Products Liability and Professional Indemnity (PPL and PI) insurance
Specifically tailored to meet the needs of practising visual or applied artists and freelancers working across the visual arts based in the UK. The policy provides protection against their legal liability to pay compensation:

- arising out of claims from clients as a consequence of errors or omissions in your work (PI).
Join a-n as an Artist member or Arts Organiser member to be covered by this £10m PPL and £5m PI policy.
Please note: The documents below are for reference only – Logged-in members can find the documents needed to demonstrate they are covered in ‘My account’ (membership certificate confirms your membership status and insurance coverage).
