In our December event, we take an out of hours walk through the Chiharu Shiota exhibition, Other Side, with Blue Monkey members Sheila Hay, Nikki Davidson-Bowman and Katy Oxborrow who will tell us about their experience as Blue Monkey volunteers working on the installation of the exhibition. Sheila, Nikki and Katy will talk about the labour-intensive and physically demanding processes involved in the installation, as well as sharing some of the things they learned by working behind the scenes at Towner. The evening will offer us the opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of volunteering. Blue Monkey members FREE. Non-members £5 Refreshments will be available (contributions welcome) or feel free to bring a bottle.
