when I perform I often use objects to cleanse and protect the space. The objects often have more than one function such as being a sonic object and ‘doing something’ else.
The objects are often body features such as eyes, breasts and noses or fingers. Sometimes ceramic objects called ‘instead of stones’. This performance was part of Hotel Jaguar by Amanda Newall at Exposed Arts in Kensington, London. Together with Hannah Conroy and Madalina Zaharia
