The Tavistock Festival 2021

In 2021 The Portobello Collective are proud to present The Tavistock Festival revival 2021. This, our first event after lockdown, will host both emerging and established talent from throughout the city and overseas; with acts uniting to perform from the UK, USA, Ghana and India. We are using a silent format to stream multiple channels to suite your musical tastes, as well as maximise time and technology – avoiding the cost to the neighbours of our Piazza, at the junction of Tavistock and Portobello Road. The event will start at 12:00 and continue until 21:30 with dance, music and film provided by local talent and organisations; most of whom have featured in the festival since 2004. This year the event will be free, with deckchairs lining a pedestrianised portion of the street and the chance to sit back or dance the day away, with a Portobello Film Festival program to see in the evening and special guest appearance to end the day.
