I am a sculptor living in Bristol and a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
In March 2025 I published a book titled ‘On My Way To Broken Ground’ featuring photographs and texts that highlight a selection of my sculpture and drawings from the ten years 2014 to 2024.
The designer, Chris Binding, has evoked a refined version of my studio notebooks. Somehow there has been an alchemy that has produced a book with a surprisingly strong personality.
It has a very limited print run and each copy includes an original drawing from my studio notebooks which makes the book a different animal; not a standard bookshop book and not really an ‘artists book’.
If your artist’s organisation, studio group, gallery or bookshop is looking for an hours ‘content’ for an event you are running, I will present the book and the production process through a 20 minute talk and a Q&A.
I can do this for free within 50 miles of Bristol, UK; otherwise for expenses agreed beforehand.
