Job title: Programme and Communications Assistant
Contract: Permanent, full-time contract of employment
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £20,117 – £28,190 (depending on qualifications and experience).
Pension: Access to workplace pension scheme
Holiday: 34 days per annum (inclusive of statutory public and bank holidays) rising to a maximum of 37 days relative to length of service.
Location: a-n office in London or Newcastle upon Tyne with the option for hybrid office and working from home arrangement subject to agreement.

Responsible to: Head of Programmes / Communications and Marketing Officer
Line managed by: Head of Programmes
Responsible for: Trainees


The Programme and Communications Assistant provides administration support for the delivery of a-n’s Programme including events, bursaries and online content. They also support communications and marketing activities for all aspects of a-n’s business, and administrative support for a-n’s advocacy, research and campaigns. Working collaboratively across the team, the role provides additional administration support for CEO, staff and governance, as required.
