During my second year I was working from old family photographs. I am a very sentimental person and along with my love of photography and photos, family memorabilia is very special to me. I have always found my best work comes from something I am passionate about/for, which, obviously, these family photos I am.
The large majority of photographs I used were my Grandad’s; he had kept suitcases full of my late Grandmother’s photos that she had taken throughout her life – most of the ones I used being from her 20’s and, interestingly, most of them I had never seen before.
