For its first Artists Open House during the Brighton Festival, 13 Gladstone Place hosts a collection of new work by four artists – Lucy Cash, Oli Evans, Michael Hutson and Frances Scott – responding to the domestic space. Original photography, drawing, sculpture, video and sound inhabit the rooms alongside things bought and things found. Pegged out, hung up, hoarded and recorded; work on paper, vinyl, acetate and film. Somewhere in the house, a solitary record player spins some old tunes.
