Coup D’etat cordially invites you to our next monthly pop up show A Fly in the Ointment Sweetens the Pill that takes place on 21st October 2011at 7pm. Concept: The title is a combination of two unrelated sayings. It describes how chance and the accidental sweeten art. Coup D’etat is investigating chance in art and how it is incorporated in the work of up and coming artists : Jesse Benson (sculpture), Joschi Herczeg (photography), Alistair Redding (photography) and Alexander Sherbakov (video). These artists are creating pieces for the exhibition which include chance occurrences or work which is derived from the uncertain or unexpected.For one night only Coup will also be uniting forces with curator Anya Ryabinina, M2M DJs and Alexei Subbotsky to bring you alternative audio-visual experience.
