Kai-Oi Jay Yung will lead a workshop looking closely at the works in her current multi-sensory exhibition at Grundy Art Gallery, ‘Amongst Dark Trees, A Clearing’ and their impact on the audience. She will focus on ‘You Don’t Actually Die’ video piece and consider issues related to comedy and detachment and issues of the self. This will be followed by a conversation between the artist and Grundy’s Kerry Vasilou, exploring the techniques and motivations of the exhibition and the artist’s practice and development.
