Alex Randall (UK Climate Change and Migration Coalition) will be up from London to join artist Kooj Chuhan (artist-activist-curator), Prof. Janet Stewart (Director, Centre for Visual Arts and Culture) and Andrew Telford (climate change researcher, Geography Dept, Durham University) for what should be a strong and engaging discussion.

The session will begin with a talk and gallery tour by artist Kooj Chuhan around his interactive art installation ‘Chamada From Chico Mendes’ currently on show at the gallery. Janet has done a great deal of work around art and the politics of oil, Andrew has researched climate impacts on Durham itself, while Alex has been a strategic activist working at multiple levels on climate change. The discussion should be relevant to anybody trying to change critical aspects of the world around us.
