‘Belonging’ is a series of art works by Fiona Hamilton and Jane Lawrence. The work is part of the ‘Border’ project being produced by the Blackdown Hills Artists and Makers’ for Somerset Arts Weeks.At the National Trust Property of Quarts Moor, along the Devon Somerset border, Fiona and Jane will be threading jumpers donated by communities from both sides of the border, through the trees and along the hedges of the county boundary. The work identifies the border and evokes an awareness of the links between humanity and the landscape, past and present.
