The Art of Mapping brings to life the story of the Waterloo map and the artistry of the Royal Engineers through a series of paper objects and installations to coincide with the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo. Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
Caroline Collinge studied design for performance at Wimbledon School of Art & LABAN. She has trained in journalism at the BBC & was a member of the Royal Court Theatre’s Young Writers group, under the tutorage of playwrights David Eldridge & Simon Stephens. Her written work was selected for the Royal Court Young Writers Festival & publically staged in their Jerwood Space.
Her work crosses design and visual art with a specialism in paper engineering and origami.
