Lynne Wixon's new canvases are based on her experiences of walking the 190 mile coast to coast route across the north of England. Lynne's canvases describe the drama of the landscape and the diversity of terrain through the graphic representations of the ordnance Survey maps. She has used the paint to translate the information of the maps into these semi abstract and evocative canvases.
