An exhibition of a major new art prize that encourages visuals inspired by music. Over 600 submissions were received from artists aged 18-72, responding to a selection of songs from Concord Music Publishing’s expansive catalogue. 10 finalists have been selected and will exhibit their artworks at 180 Strand on the 10th and 11th of September in a show curated by Ali Hillman of Friday Trampoline. Finalists include Angela Fung, Olly Fathers, Jacob Love, and Michal Raz, who will respond to songs of their choosing in new and innovative ways. The artworks will be accompanied by the music each chose, such as songs by Pink Floyd, Krept & Konan, Joan Armatrading, Mark Ronson, and more.

The illustrious panel of judges, who selected the final artworks, includes world-renowned British artist Mat Collishaw, representatives from the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins, and Hiscox, alongside Julie Lomax (CEO of a-n The Artists Information Company), Robert Yates of The Observer, and songwriters Mark Ronson and Joan Armatrading.
