Well known for the rolling program of exhibitions Centrespace Gallery hosts, at this years Open Studio weekend the members have taken on their gallery to welcome you to glimpse the daily life of an artist-led co-op and engage in Bristol’s creative community.
This year their exhibition ‘Craft in the Old City’ will focus on craft, both contemporary and traditional, showcasing how it has been an integral part of Centrespace Cooperative since opening in 1977.
The co-operative is made up of a wide range of visual artists including award winning contemporary craft makers, illustrators, graphic designers, a traditional upholsterer, printmakers, animators, fine artists, environmental architectural designers and many more.
When visiting on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of October you will also be able to visit the artists of Centrespace’s studio for their Open Studio weekend.
