We’ve had over 6 – 7 million years for our brain to evolve in response to living in the natural environment. By contrast, it’s had very little time to adapt to the artificial environments of urban areas. Less than 300 years? So, no surprise why many people experience stress and tension within them.
If we extract the features, that are in the natural environment, and transpose them into the artificial (urban) one, we can calm the mind.
