A humorous visual exploration of recollections of work and play calling on both childhood recollections and also more recent work related identities. The execution explores bold boundaries of representation and abstraction, the interactions and contentions of figure/ground relationships, and psychological effects of near symmetry. The work features stripped down colour use and controlled reductionism in portraying what to the artist was once the everyday but is now more fleeting images in the mind.
