Artists in Waltham Forest are busy preparing for the launch of their 5th and biggest ever art trail. At Home : In Walthamstow is the theme for 2009 and encapsulates the fantastic sense of community and wealth of artistic talent on Walthamstow’s doorstep. Many artists host exhibitions in their homes and organisers encourage audience members to visit these domestic venues as they are the real gems on the trail. Other highlights this year include three commissioned projects made possible by an Arts Council England grant. The E17 Art Trail runs from Saturday 5th to Sunday 13th September and hosts over 150 events in 90 venues.
