Susan Preston’s work lies between abstraction and figuration. She is interested in the shifting spaces between presence, absence, memory. As Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre’s first ‘Artist in Residence 2008’ her temporary studio was in close proximity to unusually charged icons of late C20 agricultural architecture: Farm Structures, Forms And Surfaces is an exhibition of twenty+ new drawings and paintings following the development of her experience and ideas:
