Filaments II

For two evenings only, the 12th century church of St Mary's at Burham (nr Rochester/Maidstone) in Kent will be transformed into a light art event. Filaments Arts Collective will show contemporary art installations featuring light, thread and projections.

For two evenings only, the 12th century church of St Mary’s at Burham (nr Rochester/Maidstone) in Kent will be transformed into a light art event.

Filaments Arts Collective will show contemporary art installations using lights, thread and projections including a large scale projection on the outside of the church featuring gathered photos of families who lived and worked in the area.

This is the 2nd event to be held at St Mary’s by the collective of five Kent based artists: Elizabeth Burman, Karen Crosby, Rosie James, Ruth Payne and Linda Simon.

Filaments II is funded by Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grant.
