Give and Take: a creative exchange hosted by Elaine and Lynsey Cameron. Artists and lecturers at Sussex Downs College, Elaine and Lynsey Cameron have been working collaboratively since June 2011. Key to their work is the notion of social interaction as practice and the potential it provides for the transformation of relationships. This is Elaine and Lynsey’s second ‘give and take’ event. The ultimate, long term aim is the generation of a creative collective through which the exchange of ideas, views and skills can take place in a spirit of generosity. Elaine and Lynsey invite you to come along, bring a thing – on or made of paper; made, received, bought, kept, constructed, de-constructed, added, removed, drawn, torn or fixed; have a conversation (or two…) and leave with something else. Be prepared to part with your thing through Give and Take. This special Blue Monkey Christmas evening is FREE to all. Join us and get into the spirit of Christmas by sharing and swapping with other artists.
