Once upon a time; washing line. Looking back, I recall freeze frames of time, like a forgotten, then slowly remembered dream, of when I was very young..of lying in grass, looking up at washing moving slowly back and forth above me. Those spring and summer days were always warm and blue skied, of course I edit my past and tint it rose, but the smell of line dried washing takes me back to carefree days; a blank template waiting to be coloured in. I wanted to create a tableau of moments and experiences hidden on a washing line, look and you will find words that express the trials and tribulations of an ordinary life, stitched sadly, angrily and sometimes in total bliss.
