GALLERY LAUNCH & PRIVATE VIEW, FRIDAY 19 SEPTEMBER 2008, 6-9pm. ‘If a little dreaming is dangerous, the cure for it is not to dream less but to dream more, to dream all the time.’ (Marcel Proust). WW is a new artists' run project space in a Victorian terraced house on Hackney Downs, East London, showing artists using humour and darkness in contemporary art. The launch exhibition features work by local and international talent including Juneau Projects’s Ben Sadler – who is concurrently showing at Tate Britain – Eva Lis, Monooka, Sonke Faltien, Anita Makris, Irlanda Zantone, Boa Swindler and Chiara Williams.
