Carolyn Corfield’s ‘Lotus Narratives’ and deity sculptures feature in this latest Interface Arts Exhibition. As part of what is a truly diverse and vibrant showing of artistic endeavour, Carolyn’s work explores the iconic legacy of the lotus, one of the great sacred plants of the East that is associated with divinity and ritual. Other goddess pieces reflecting the figurines of Neolithic times which functioned to express Nature – ‘The Great Mystery’, not only delight the eye but are also temptingly tactile. Throughout the event an artist will be available to discuss and demonstrate their working practice. Information relating to each artists attendance is displayed within the venue.
Carolyn will be present 10.30am – 4.30 pm Friday 13th May.
