Blue Monkey Network welcomes Cambridge-based artist, David Kefford. David is an artist who works across a range of media employing improvised and low-tech methods and processes to re-work cheap, second-hand objects and materials to create new drawings, collage, assemblage, film and installation. David is co-founder and director of Aid & Abet, a member of Market Project and a Trustee of Block 336 in Brixton. Having exhibited widely and undertaken commissions and residencies nationally and internationally, David will talk about key moments that have influenced the development and direction of his practice, and his involvement with pro-active artist-led organisations. Refreshments available (contributions welcome) or please bring a bottle. FREE to Blue Monkey Network members; non-members £8. We are also pleased to be able to offer artists the opportunity of a 1-2-1 session with David Kefford to discuss aspects of their practice on Wednesday 29 May or Thursday 30 May. 1-2-1s are FREE to Network members; £10 for non-members.
