Following a successful exhibition in Liverpool, JazzCakes bring their 100: POSTCARDS project to Cardiff. One hundred artists from a diverse range of disciplines use the dimensions of a standard postcard to act as a vessel for thoughts and images based around the idea of communication, community and networks.Ceramicist Josh Redman’s Dinner for One acts as a stark reminder of the fine line between independence and isolation, ‘Doris is very old, and she is basically alone….this is a piece for Doris and all the lonely eaters in this world.’
