The Contemporary Crafts Network are celebrating 30 years as an exhibiting group at Sam Scorer Gallery, Lincoln. The group formed in 1988 and was originally called Lincolnshire and Humberside Contemporary Crafts then renamed in 1977 when their members increased and the Lincolnshire and Humberside disbanded as a regional arts board. They have continued to flourish, encouraging members to learn new techniques and develop skills in their chosen fields, creating work in a wide variety of materials such as glass, ceramics, wood, metals, felt and textiles. The ‘Celebration’ exhibition brings together some unique, beautifully crafted work from members both past and present.
