Working from her studio in Coventry, Polly creates paintings that engage the viewer both intellectually and aesthetically. She arranges colours in a complex and methodical way to both stimulate and confuse the eye. The subtle interplay of colours creates illusions of depth and movement which are intriguing and often disorientating.Kaleidoscopic draws together paintings from past and present, with many pieces being exhibited together for the first time. Polly hopes the collection will challenge how the viewer responds to colour, and maybe make a few people dizzy in the process!
