‘Like Pablito, I too made my way over the fence at Le Mas Notre Dame Vie in order to bring you this,’ Keith MacIsaac. Malgras|Naudet is pleased to premiere Picasso Trespass, the long-awaited film by Keith MacIsaac and the culmination of a project that has been in development and production for the past four years. Featuring footage of an interview filmed without the knowledge of the interviewee, an accusatory confrontation with camera-in-hand and tresspassing on Picasso’s Le Mas Notre Dame de Vie, MacIsaac intrusively exposes the puppet that Picasso biographer, John Richardson, has become with the truth behind the life of Picasso’s wife, Jacqueline Roque. Duration: 17 minutes. Features: John richardson (Picasso biographer), Pepita Dupont (author of La vérité sur Jacqueline et Picasso) and the late, Norman Mailer (Pulitzer Prize writer). Shot on Location: Edinburgh, New York, Paris, Côte d’Azur. Technical Assistance: Tom Nolan and Keith Farquhar. Malgras|Naudet is a new space for contemporary art, a space in which things might happen.
