Solo show by artist Martin Stynes, an abstract landscape painter who joined Neoartists in January of this year. The exhibition features work produced over the last twelve months and reflects the artist’s travels both real and imaginary. His work is inspired by the grandeur of the landscape, evoking feelings of awe and mystery. His imaginative landscapes are both real and abstract and are often generated by words, music and memories. However they are inspired, they provide an exciting but sometimes sombre view of the world. Martin was born in Dublin and studied art in the UK, leaving Goldsmiths College, London in 1974. In 2007 he was elected to be a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and has returned to painting seriously in 2009. His work is in several private collections in the UK, Ireland, Norway and South Africa.
